Privacy policy

We keep what our products need to work, and nothing to sell. No ads, and no trackers from other companies, anywhere.

last updated 3 November 2026

Zeroform ("we") makes this website, DIGU and The Traveller. This page explains what each of them keeps about you. If something here is unclear, ask us.

This website

This website has no accounts, no forms, no cookies, no analytics and no ads. It loads nothing from other companies: the fonts and pictures come from our own server.

  • No visit logs. Our server doesn't write a log of who visits which page.
  • Your theme. If you switch between light and dark, your browser remembers the choice on your device. It never reaches us. Clear your browser's site data to forget it.
  • Email. If you write to us, we keep your message and your address to reply, and delete them when they're no longer needed.

DIGU

DIGU is a card game run by Zeroform. You play it at https://digu.thecrayfish.tech, and soon in the iPhone and Android apps, which show the same game. The same policy applies everywhere you play.

What DIGU keeps

WhatWhyHow long
Your account: username, display name, picture or initials colour, and your password as a hash we can't read backSo you can sign in and other players know who you areUntil you delete your account
Email address, if you add oneTo confirm it's yours and to send a password reset link (valid 30 minutes)Until you remove it or delete your account
Your play: tables, rounds, scores, match history, rating, badges, practice levels, tournaments, clubs, friends, blocksThe game itself, rankings and seasonsAs long as your account. Scores stay, unnamed, after deletion (see below)
Your wallet: every Boli and token in and out, with the reasonSo your balance always adds up, and to undo mistakes and abuseAs long as your account
Reports you make, with a note of up to 280 charactersSo an admin can act on themUntil handled, then kept as a record
Messages to the DIGU team: name, email, topic and messageTo answer youName and email are removed if you delete your account
Club verification: legal name, ID number and ID photos, if you ask for your club to be verifiedTo check the club is who it says it isPhotos are stored encrypted, only admins can open them, and they're deleted if the request is turned down, the verification is removed or the club closes
How the app is used: screens opened, buttons tapped (with where on the screen), screen size and device typeTo find what's confusing and make it betterAbout 180 days, and deleted with your account
Speed and errors: how fast pages load, and what brokeTo fix what breaksUp to 90 days
Your sign-in session: one cookie, and the name of your browser or deviceTo keep you signed in and let you see where you're signed inEnds after a day without use, or after 7 days
An alerts address, if you turn on alertsTo send you game alertsRemoved when you turn alerts off

Your phone or browser also remembers small things on your device, such as your lesson progress. Your internet address is used to stop abuse, for example too many sign-in attempts from one place. It isn't kept with your account.

Chat and voice messages

Table chat and voice messages are for the people at the table, and are never kept with your account.

  • Chat stays in the server's memory while the table is in use, up to its last 100 messages, and is dropped a day after the table goes quiet.
  • Voice messages (up to 30 seconds) are saved as short audio files on our server so the others at the table can play them. They're deleted a day after they were sent at most, and whenever the server restarts. A table keeps at most its last 50.
  • If someone reports a player, the admin sees the last chat lines from that table.

Who else sees it

  • Other players see your name, picture, rating, badges and how you play at their tables, as in any game.
  • DIGU admins can see accounts, wallets and reports, to keep the game fair and answer messages. What they do is logged.
  • Our server host runs the computers DIGU lives on. It stores the data above for us and can't use it for anything else.
  • Our email service (Resend) sends the confirm-your-email and password links. It gets your email address and that message, nothing else.
  • Your browser's alert service (for example Apple, Google or Mozilla) carries game alerts to your device if you turn them on.

We don't sell your data or share it with anyone else. Boli and tokens can't be bought with real money, so DIGU takes no payments. If that ever changes, this page will first say who handles them.

Deleting your account

In DIGU, go to Settings › Privacy › Delete account. Your name, picture, email and password are removed at once, your usage log and sessions are deleted, your friends and blocks are cleared, and messages you sent the team lose your name and email. Scores already played stay, under "Deleted player", so other players' results still add up. Your username stays reserved.

If you'd rather take a break, Deactivate signs you out everywhere and keeps everything until you sign in again.

Age

DIGU is for players aged 13 and over. If you're younger, please don't make an account. If we learn a child under 13 has one, we delete it.

The Traveller

The Traveller runs in your browser at https://thetraveller.thecrayfish.tech. There's no sign-in, no chat and no online play. It used to be published by Stupid Studios; since 3 November 2026 Zeroform makes and runs it, and nothing about how it handles your data changed.

Stored on your device only

  • Your save: the name you give your character, your progress, inventory, skills, where you are on the map, a log of recent in-game events, and the time you last saved. It's kept in your browser's local storage and never sent to us.
  • Game files cached by the browser so the game loads faster and works offline.

You can copy your save as a "save code" to move it to another device, and erase it at any time from the game's menu. Clearing your browser's site data for the game also deletes it.

Sent when you load the game

  • Like any website, your browser sends our server your internet address and browser details to download the game. Neither the game's server nor the proxy in front of it keeps a log of these requests.
  • Nothing is loaded from other companies: the game's fonts and map data come from our own server.

The Traveller doesn't ask for your location, camera, microphone or contacts. It may vibrate your phone during fishing, which needs no permission. The map comes with the game; your real location is never used.

Your rights

The Traveller holds nothing about you on our side, so this is about DIGU and email. You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Write to us from the email on your account, or include your username, and we'll answer within 30 days. If you think we've handled your data wrongly, tell us first and we'll put it right; you can also complain to the data-protection authority where you live.

Changes

If we change what we keep, we update this page and the date at the top before the change happens.
